Travel: Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland

We crossed over from Liverpool to Belfast on a ferry over night, and continued by car from Belfast to Giant’s Causeway. The rock formations are quite something! There are so many of the polygonal columns that the spectacular views around them just add to the speechlessness of it all. The columns are a result of a volcanic eruption and is named UNESCO World Heritage Site. For a fun movie reference, How To Train Your Dragon show the columns in a very realistic way, even though it is an animated movie. Have to say we didn’t spot any dragons on our visit there.. Only a lot smaller flying insects.
